You freeze when it is time to speak
Reading and listening grow fast. Speaking needs reps out loud, and a class gives you a few minutes a week.
Private beta · made for iPhone
Tune is a pocket pronunciation coach. Speak along with real English and see how every sound and word came out, scored and explained. Then try again and watch the score grow.
Why Tune
Most apps check whether you picked the right word, not how you said it, so the accent you started with is the one you keep.
Reading and listening grow fast. Speaking needs reps out loud, and a class gives you a few minutes a week.
“Think” turns into “sink” and “we” into “ve”, and nobody tells you. Without feedback, practice repeats the error.
Checking pronunciation one learner at a time does not scale, so it is the first thing a course drops.
Tune closes the loop in under a minute

Coach
Clear and well paced. Two sounds still give away the accent.
Interactive demo
This is how a result looks after one take. Each word is coloured by its score; tap it to see each sound, what it sounded like, and how to fix it.
Sample data. In the app, scores come from your own recording.
Four ways to practise
Practise with what you actually need to say: the talk you watched, the interview you are preparing for, the words you keep stumbling on.
Topics with texts read by a natural voice. Write your own or generate one at your level, from A1 to C2, then speak along, after it, or alone.
Paste a link to a video up to 20 minutes. Tune transcribes it, cuts it into even segments, and highlights each word as the speaker says it.
Drill the words that trip you up, one by one, with a reference voice. Any word from a result goes to “My words” in one tap.
Questions on your topic, such as a job interview. Answer in your own words: Tune transcribes you, scores the pronunciation, reviews grammar and naturalness, and checks the content.
Feedback
Scores for each phoneme, and the sound Tune heard instead, so you know exactly what to change.
Rhythm, pauses, and melody scored beside accuracy, where the speech service supports it.
Play each sentence by the reference voice and then by you, cut from your own recording.
An audio AI model listens to your take and writes a short note in English or Russian, and can read it aloud.
Green starts at 90, not at “understood”: Tune grades more strictly than the speech service itself.
Try the same text again and see how much your score grew since the last take.
Minutes you actually spoke, not minutes the app was open, with a small celebration when you hit the goal.
Installs to the iPhone home screen from Safari. Practise on the go, with or without headphones.
For whom
Preparing for an interview, a move abroad, or daily calls with an international team. Ten minutes a day on your own material.
Give every student a pronunciation trainer that listens to every take, so lesson time goes to conversation.
Help a distributed team speak with clients confidently. A private space with shared materials for your domain.
For investors
Tune is past the prototype: it runs in production as a private beta, and every paid AI call is metered against per-user budgets.
Every paid call to a speech or language model is reserved and settled in a ledger, with daily and monthly budgets per user and a shared cap.
Assessment, transcription, speech, and text models sit behind contracts. Text and speech models are switched in settings as prices and quality change, and another provider plugs in without touching the rest of the app.
No public sign-up, recordings visible only to their owner, provider keys only on the server, and a security log of sign-ins and changes.
An installable web app tuned for Safari on iPhone: microphone, playback, and interruptions handled where most learners practise.

FAQ
Most apps check what you chose or typed. Tune listens to how you sound: it scores every sound, word, and sentence of your own recording and tells you what to change. You practise with real speech, such as videos and texts on your topics, rather than tapping answers.
Tune uses a professional pronunciation-assessment service and stricter bands than usual: green starts at 90, so an accented word does not look finished. It is a practice tool, not an exam certificate. When a score is not available, Tune says so instead of guessing.
Tune is designed first for Safari on iPhone and installs to the home screen. It also opens in current desktop browsers.
Reference voices speak American or British English. With YouTube you can shadow any speaker you like.
They belong to your account and only you can play them. You can delete any recording. To score and review a take, its audio is processed by our speech and AI providers. The privacy policy has the details.

During the beta we add people in small groups to keep quality high and costs predictable. Leave a request and we will get in touch.
Yes. An administrator issues accounts, shares materials with every learner, and sets spending limits. Write to us about a pilot.
